Father of 4 working on vehicle shot and killed On a warm evening in New Orleans, Christopher Bordere, Sr., a 44-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot multiple times. The incident occurred on Monday, November 6, 2017, as he was diligently working on a vehicle outside his residence at 4733 Raymond Joseph Drive. Emergency responders discovered him slumped behind the wheel of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a husband and a father to four children.
