In the early morning hours of August 24, 2011, a grim discovery was made in Hyattsville, Maryland. A man, later identified as 58-year-old Jerry Junior 'Tank' Neal, was found unconscious in front of a residence on the 6700 block of Old Landover Road. First responders were called to the scene at approximately 5 a.m. and found Mr. Neal suffering from significant trauma to his upper body. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
