In the early morning hours of September 18, 2010, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 22-year-old Donald Reeves Jr. in Landover, Maryland. Reeves and a friend were walking along Dodge Park Road, simply minding their own business, when they were suddenly accosted from behind by one or two unknown individuals. The assailants' intent was robbery, but the encounter quickly escalated into a fatal struggle.
