On a spring evening in 2009, the life of 25-year-old Joseph Jevon Dorsey was tragically cut short in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The young man, a resident of nearby Temple Hills, was fatally wounded by gunfire on May 1st. Known affectionately to friends as "Joe" or "Black," and as "Je'Von" to his family, he was remembered for his engaging personality and his love for those around him.
