In the spring of 2017, the life of 52-year-old Craig Phil Bryant was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in the Mid-City neighborhood of New Orleans. On the evening of Tuesday, April 11, 2017, Bryant was on the 300 block of Jane Place when he was fatally wounded. The New Orleans Police Department received reports of the shooting shortly before 6:30 p.m. and arrived to find a grim scene.
