On a late Monday night in December of 2016, the life of Blake Garnett was tragically cut short in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 32-year-old Black male fell victim to a fatal shooting during an attempted robbery on December 12th. At the time of his death, Garnett was a father, leaving behind a daughter to navigate life without him. He was remembered by his family as a good father and someone who was often the life of the party, always ready with a joke.
