Do you know who murdered William Eleby? In the late afternoon of September 3, 2014, a burst of violence shattered the calm of a New Orleans neighborhood. William Eleby, a 25-year-old Black male, was walking in the 2100 block of Foucher Street when he was struck by multiple gunshots. Despite his grave injuries, he managed to flee, his strength failing him as he collapsed a block away in the 2000 block of Amelia Street. The life of the young man, known affectionately as "Will Black," was tragically cut short.
