Trenton Way was killed during a robbery of the Kangaroo gas station he worked at. In the early morning hours of December 16, 2015, Trenton James Way, a 27-year-old male, was working his shift as a store clerk at the Kangaroo gas station in Bessemer, Alabama. His life was tragically cut short when a man entered the store and shot him multiple times during a robbery. Bessemer police responded to the scene at 1:32 a.m. and found Way lying behind the counter. He was pronounced dead just thirteen minutes after their arrival.
