Joel Lopez Guzman, a 39-year-old resident of Turlock, California, tragically lost his life on November 16, 2020, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred outside an O'Reilly Auto Parts store on Lander Avenue. Guzman was standing near his SUV in the store's parking lot when a sedan pulled up, and the assailant, later identified as Jeramie Skylar Hoover, opened fire. Guzman was struck six times in the back and was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after the attack.
