Gregory Joseph Sanchez, a 17-year-old from Coalinga, California, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2020. Gregory was a passenger in a Honda Fit traveling south on Highway 145 near Five Points when the vehicle was ambushed by another car. The assailants opened fire, striking Gregory in the lower body and his 18-year-old cousin in the arm. The driver, uninjured, managed to reach a nearby California Highway Patrol officer for help.
