On the evening of August 1, 2018, Eric Colin, a 29-year-old resident of Coalinga, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM when Colin was walking near the intersection of Warthan Avenue and East Sacramento Avenue in Coalinga. According to reports, an unknown assailant fired multiple gunshots in Colin's direction, striking him several times.
