Brian Stuart Bedard, a 50-year-old resident of Oakland, was tragically killed in a fatal shooting on July 5, 2019, in Richmond, California. The incident occurred in the afternoon near 6th Street and Ohio Avenue. Richmond Police officers responded to reports of gunshots around 2 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Bedard on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being transported to a nearby hospital, Bedard succumbed to his injuries later that day.
