On February 22, 2019, Antonio Lopez, a 22-year-old resident of Arvin, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. Alongside Lopez, 18-year-old Javier Ramirez Cruz was also shot and later succumbed to his injuries at Kern Medical Hospital.
Cruz's death was similarly ruled a homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds.
