On a Thursday in New Orleans, Demar Aston Ford, a 26-year-old male, was driving his 2006 Infiniti in the lower 9th ward. It was June 16, 2012, and as he drove through the 5400 block of North Rampart Street, his life was cut short by a fatal shooting. A bullet struck him in the head, ending his life.
