28 year old deacon murdered in Walgreens Drive-Thru On a Thursday afternoon, June 3, 2010, Juan Kenta Bolton, a 28-year-old Black man, was in the drive-thru of a Walgreens on Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans. It was 4:33 PM when the unexpected happened; he was shot in the chest. Emergency services transported him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he died later that day.
Known to his loved ones as 'Chip' or 'Toot-Toot,' Juan was not only a son and a brother but also served as a deacon at New Home Ministries.
