Rod Barron Lucas, a 46-year-old sergeant with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2016, due to an accidental gun discharge. Lucas, who had served in law enforcement for over two decades, was a respected member of the Special Investigations Unit.
