Mauricio Andre Barron, a 27-year-old resident of Riverside, California, tragically lost his life on October 10, 2016, in Irvine, CA. The incident occurred on the Interstate 5 freeway near Barranca Parkway. Barron had been struck by a car and, in a state of distress, informed a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer that he had a gun.
