Roland Gerald Young, a 23-year-old Caucasian male, was discovered stabbed to death on Irvine Center Drive in Irvine, California, on June 11, 1978. His murder was later attributed to Randy Steven Kraft, a notorious serial killer known as the "Freeway Killer" and the "Scorecard Killer." Kraft was convicted of Young's murder, along with the murders of 15 other young men, in 1989.
