Oswaldo De Jesus Urizar, a 46-year-old Latino man, was found dead on February 24, 2016, in his studio apartment located in the 10400 block of Montara Avenue in South Gate, California. Urizar, who worked as a truck driver and lived alone, was discovered by his sister after he failed to respond to her repeated text messages and calls. Concerned, she used her key to enter his apartment and found him lying face down on his bed.
