Douglas Blasher, a 47-year-old resident of Ventura, California, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2015. Blasher was the victim of a homicide that occurred in his home at the Todd Ranch condominium complex. The incident unfolded early in the morning when Blasher was shot in the head by Brandon Scott Ellis, a man from Katy, Texas.
