In the midst of a particularly violent year in Baltimore, a young life was tragically cut short. Matthew Jr. Johnson, a 22-year-old African American male, was shot and killed on December 28, 2017. The fatal incident occurred in the 2200 block of Orleans Street, an area that has unfortunately been acquainted with violent crime. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Johnson with gunshot wounds.
