Israel Guzman Ramirez, a 26-year-old farm worker from Salinas, California, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2015. Ramirez was shot in the 1100 block of Pacific Avenue, a street that had seen a surge in violent incidents that year. Despite being a farm worker with no known gang affiliations, Ramirez became one of the victims in a series of shootings that plagued the area.
