On the evening of March 27, 2015, 18-year-old Rosario "Rosie" Cruz was tragically shot and killed while visiting friends at the Friendly Village mobile home park in Lancaster, California. The incident occurred around 9:32 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Avenue I. According to reports, Rosie was caught in the crossfire when a shooting broke out between groups of Hispanic men.
