Troy Filinow, an 18-year-old resident of Palmdale, California, was tragically shot and killed on February 2, 2015. The incident occurred in the 37800 block of Robina Avenue, a residential area in Palmdale. According to reports, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon at approximately 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Filinow lying unresponsive near the sidewalk.
