On July 22, 2014, Wilma Patterson, a 74-year-old resident of Moreno Valley, California, was tragically killed in a series of violent events that shook the community. Patterson was fatally shot at a gas station located at Sunnymead Ranch Parkway and Old Lake Drive. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when police responded to reports of a shooting.
