In the summer of 2017, the life of James Wellman, a 32-year-old White male, was tragically cut short in a burst of violence on the streets of East Baltimore. On the evening of August 12th, police were called to the 1500 block of Holbrook Street, where they discovered Wellman inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the arrival of emergency services, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
