Gustavo Banda, a 27-year-old resident of Fairfield, California, was tragically killed on April 19, 2014. Banda and a 15-year-old boy were both shot on Union Avenue near Travis Boulevard. They were transported to NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield, where Banda succumbed to a gunshot wound to his head. The teenage boy, who sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder, was treated and released from the hospital.
