On March 6, 2016, 23-year-old Ryan Davone Martin was shot and killed in Long Beach, California. The incident occurred at approximately 2:44 a.m. in the 1700 block of Pacific Avenue. Long Beach Police officers were dispatched to the area following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Martin inside a vehicle, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced him deceased.
