Leslie Virgie Holland, a 31-year-old handyman and mechanic from Carson, California, tragically lost his life on the night of August 7, 2001. Leslie was working at Dapp's Auto Repair, located at the intersection of 190th and Broadway, when he was fatally shot. He was in a tow truck, moving vehicles onto the lot, when a black van approached and opened fire. This incident occurred just three weeks after the death of his mother, adding to the family's grief.
