In the summer of 2016, the life of Melvin Dino Brown, a 48-year-old Black male, was cut short in a violent encounter in Baltimore, Maryland. On July 13, 2016, Brown was fatally shot in the 1500 block of Washington Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
