He tragically lost his life on December 24, 2022, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Hamilton was fatally shot while responding to a domestic violence call. The incident occurred when the suspect, 43-year-old Timothy Price-Williams, refused to leave his residence and began firing shots out of a window.
Hamilton was struck by one of the bullets and was immediately transported to Fort Walton Beach - Destin Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
