Maurice Kosh, a 24-year-old Black man, was killed in the middle of an ordinary afternoon in Baltimore when gunfire found him seated inside his own car on South Culver Street in Southwest Baltimore. Police were called to the unit block of South Culver Street at about 2:30 p.m. on January 19, 2016, and arrived to find him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
