In the winter of 2015, the life of Brian Keith Tchiyuka, a 46-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of December 9th, Tchiyuka was fatally shot in the 2400 block of Guilford Avenue. A U.S. Air Force veteran who had served during the Persian Gulf Conflict, he was working for the National Cemetery Administration at the time of his death and had also previously served as a police sergeant with the U.S. Department of State.
