Jradi was sitting in a gray van in a parking lot near the Hertz business when he was struck by a stray bullet. The bullet, which traveled approximately 1,000 feet, hit Jradi in the head, resulting in his immediate death.
The incident occurred during a chaotic shootout outside the Trump International Beach Resort, which police described as stemming from a road rage incident involving two rappers who were in town for the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival.
The shootout not only claimed Jradi's life but also injured a 19-year-old woman named Kaylyn Marie Long, who was inside a black Suburban that was also struck by gunfire. The Suburban was reportedly carrying rapper NBA YoungBoy, who was not injured in the incident. The chaotic scene saw bullets piercing multiple vehicles, and witnesses described the panic as people ran for cover, mistaking the gunfire for fireworks at first.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Miami-Dade Police detained several individuals for questioning and recovered multiple firearms from the scene. The investigation revealed that the shootout was linked to a dispute between the two rappers, and authorities issued a Be On The Lookout (B.O.L.O.) for a silver GMC Yukon. This vehicle was later stopped by police as it attempted to enter the Rolling Loud Music Festival at Hard Rock Stadium, leading to the detention of four males for further questioning.
