Cobi Dewayne Mathis, a 17-year-old African American male from Tallahassee, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 25, 2019. Cobi was a student at Godby High School and was known for his passion for basketball. On the day of his death, Cobi was involved in a drug deal that turned into a robbery at the Monterey Apartments on Old Bainbridge Road.
