Quantia Curry-Golden, a 33-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on November 26, 2018, in Opa-locka, Florida. Quantia, who was three months pregnant, was shot while sitting in her car with her 13-year-old daughter, C’Lexus Richardson. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 2500 block of Superior Street. Quantia had just left her job at Northshore Hospital and was picking up her daughter when the shooting happened. Her daughter, who was also shot in the shoulder, survive ...
