On February 23, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Opa-Locka, Florida, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Brianna Thornhill. The shooting took place inside the family's home at the Mirage at Sailboat community around 3 a.m. According to the mother of the victim, the shooting was accidental and involved her 19-year-old son, Keon Martavious Thornhill.
