Darrell Jenkins, a 29-year-old resident of St. Augustine, Florida, tragically lost his life on June 23, 2018. Jenkins was found shot on Sanitorium Avenue near Hurst and West Kings streets. Responding to reports of a verbal argument, deputies discovered Jenkins and transported him to Flagler Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as Jenkins was a well-known figure in the area, leaving behind a large family and many friends.
