Kahlil R. Cooke, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on January 20, 2018, in Saint Augustine, Florida. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in an undeveloped area at Hickory Forrest Road near Stratton Boulevard off Florida 16. Cooke was transported by acquaintances in a private vehicle to Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
