Jayton Raymond Knowles, a 44-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on April 2, 2018, in Vero Beach, Florida. The incident occurred at a Motel 6 near the Vero Beach exit of Interstate 95. Knowles was shot in the chest during an altercation in the motel's parking lot. After being shot, he managed to stumble into a nearby IHOP restaurant, where he identified his shooter before succumbing to his injuries two hours later at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pie ...
