In the midst of a violent summer in Baltimore, Damon Tisdale, a 33-year-old Black man, was shot and killed on the afternoon of July 15, 2015. The shooting occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the 1 block of North Carey Street. His death was one of 45 homicides that plagued the city during that deadliest month.
