Jude Onyegbulum Osuji Jr., a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 13, 2018, in Gainesville, FL. The incident occurred at the Summer Place Villas apartment complex, where Osuji Jr. was employed. On that fateful day, Cedric Tremaine Plummer, a 23-year-old resident of the complex, entered the office and, without uttering a word, fatally shot Osuji Jr. and another employee, Robert Earl Brumbaugh, a 61-year-old Caucasian male.
