Hoyt Birge, a 32-year-old resident of Tallahassee, Florida, tragically lost his life on May 9, 2017, in a brutal murder that shocked the community. Birge was lured to a duplex on Mission Road under the pretense of a drug deal involving prescription opioids. Upon arrival, he was ambushed by four armed men who beat him with a hammer, fists, and the butt of a rifle before he was fatally shot at close range with an AK-47.
