On November 16, 2016, Staffon Larry, aged 26, was found dead alongside his friend Charles Durden, aged 27, in a burning vehicle at the intersection of Fred Waters Way and Spring Street in St. Augustine, Florida. The investigation revealed that both men had been shot to death before the car was set on fire. The manner of death was ruled a homicide for both victims.
