Phil Jonathan Nelson, aged 19, tragically lost his life on August 18, 2016, in Hollywood, Florida. On that fateful Thursday night, Phil was a passenger in a car traveling along Island Drive and Miramar Parkway. At approximately 10:35 p.m., the vehicle came under a barrage of gunfire. Phil, along with another passenger, Jermiel "Miel" Gianna Joseph, was caught in the crossfire. The sudden and violent nature of the attack left both families and the community in shock and mourning.
