Tony Yanniello, a 33-year-old deputy sheriff with the Broward County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on October 18, 1984, in Hollywood, Florida. On that fateful day, Deputy Yanniello responded to a domestic disturbance call at 4011 SW 19th Street. As he approached the residence, the suspect, an elderly male, opened fire from a window with a rifle, fatally wounding Yanniello.
