In the late evening of February 25, 2015, the life of a young Baltimore man was cut short in a burst of gunfire. Tavon Reese, a 22-year-old Black male, was discovered inside a vehicle on the 5600 block of Loch Raven Boulevard. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident, which unfolded around 10:47 p.m., also left another individual wounded. This second victim, also a male, managed to get to a local hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds.
