The investigation into Tyler Macklin's murder
led to the arrest and conviction of three individuals. Joseph Gomes-Brandon, 21, was found guilty of first-degree murder, robbery with a firearm, burglary, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Gomes-Brandon's co-defendant, Jonathan Felix, 23, was also convicted of first-degree murder and robbery, receiving a life sentence without parole.
