Jasmine McAfee, a 24-year-old woman from Apopka, Florida, tragically lost her life on March 26, 2016. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when McAfee was found dead in a car on the side of State Road 429 near Colonial Drive. Alongside her was a 23-year-old man who had been injured in the same shooting. The third person in the car was unharmed. The Joint Homicide Investigative Team (JHIT) was called to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
