On a crisp autumn afternoon, the life of 23-year-old Christopher Montay James, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On Friday, October 31, 2014, at approximately 2:55 p.m., in the 3500 block of Brendan Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, James was shot and killed.
